Kutaisi International Airport served a record number of passengers between January and November 2023, - according to the Union of Georgian Airports.
As of the report, Davit Agmashenebeli Airport received 1,514,280 passengers in 11M2023, which was 105% higher than the same period of 2022. (January-November 2022 665,732 passengers).
"The number of flights made in 11 months is also historic. Kutaisi International Airport served 4,504 flights in January-November, which is 55% more than in the same period of 2022. (January-November 2022, 737,478 flights)", the Union said.
According to the Union, passenger flow in Kutaisi Davit Agmashenebeli International Airport increased by 86% in November compared to the same period of 2022.
The Union of Georgian Airports reports, that 133,732 passengers used Davit Agmashenebeli Airport in November (November 2022 71,746 passengers).
"In addition to the passenger flow, there is a significant increase in the number of flights from Kutaisi International Airport in November, and a 56% increase was recorded.
As of the Union of Georgian Airports, Davit Agmashenebeli Airport served 417 flights in November (November 2022, 268 flights)", the Airports Union said.
