A total of 6 396 Russian citizens took residence permits in Georgia from 2020 to March 11, 2022, according to the Ministry of Justice.
As of the statistics, 2 386 Russian citizens took residence permits in 2020, while the figure stood at 3 476 in 2021 and 534 Russian citizens took residence permits in Georgia from January to March 11, 2022.
Permanent residence permits for family reunification are dominated among the issued residence permits.
As for the total statistics, according to the Ministry of Justice, a total of 44,739 people gained the right to live in Georgia in 2020-2022.
