In 1H24, Georgia received GEL 87.2 million income from the services of transit trailers.
According to data from the State Treasury, 249,385 transit trailers used the country's roads from January to June. Annual growth is insignificant amounting to only 0.6%.
As for May, 40,265 trailers passed through the country, and they paid GEL 14,092,964 to the budget. Compared to May, the number of trailers has decreased. In May, more than 46 thousand transit trucks crossed the borders of the country. Each trailer pays GEL 350 to use the Georgian road.
It is worth noting that in 2023, 519,997 trailers passed through the corridor of Georgia, the revenues from toll roads amounted to GEL 181,998,905, which is a record figure and showed an annual increase of 42%.
