The city service of environment protection of Tbilisi City Hall completed the rehabilitation of Pushkini Square. The mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, announced this at the meeting of the Tbilisi Municipality government held on Wednesday.
According to him, within the framework of the works, footpaths were updated, new park inventory was placed, outdoor lighting was rehabilitated and a video surveillance system was installed.
"The City Service of Environmental Protection of Tbilisi City Hall completed the rehabilitation of Pushkini Square. The infrastructure of the square was actually destroyed and we were in a difficult situation. As part of the works, footpaths were renewed, new park equipment was placed, outdoor lighting was rehabilitated and a video surveillance system was installed. All measures necessary for greening were carried out. The space is fully furnished. Cleaning works are remained, which will be completed in the next two days", Kakha Kaladze said.
As Kaladze noted, GEL 1,400,000 was spent on the rehabilitation of Pushkini Square.
