The Revenue Service published a report. According to the document, the Georgian private sector paid a total of GEL 217 million in dividends to their owners and partners in May, this means that 6,200 persons received dividends. This amount is 47% more than the same period last year.
Statistics also include information on the dividend amount. In May, 3,900 people received a dividend of less than GEL 10,000, with a total volume of GEL 11 million. 2,000 people received a dividend of GEL 10,000-100,000 with a total value of GEL 60 million, while 373 people received a dividend of more than GEL 100,000 with a total volume of GEL 147 million.
Overall, dividends issued by businesses to individuals (owners; partners) in the first 5 months of 2022 are distributed as follows:
