The largest electricity distribution company of Georgia "Energo-Pro Georgia" has published its financial report for 2022. According to the document, the total income of the company increased by 14% to GEL 497 million during the last year. Net profit increased by 12% reaching GEL 228 million.
"Energo-Pro Georgia" is responsible for the electricity supply of 1.3 million subscribers, and the company's operational area covers 58.8 thousand square kilometers.
In 2022, the company distributed 5,130 GW/h of electricity. In addition, the income from direct distribution amounted to GEL 451 million, and the income from network connection service amounted to GEL 45.8 million.
According to the financial report, the main expense for "Energo-Pro Georgia" was the purchase of electricity, on which the company spent GEL 105 million in 2022. The second was staff costs of GEL 70 million. According to the report, in total "Energo-Pro Georgia" employed more than 5 thousand people.
