Mobile operators started 2022 with revenue growth. The report submitted to the Communications Commission shows that companies earned GEL 92.5 million in the first two months of 2022, which was 18.7% more compared to the previous year.
According to the operators, the revenues are distributed as follows:
• MagtiCom - 45,082,107; up by 24% y-o-y
• Silknet - 31,262,521; up by 14% y-o-y
• Vioni Georgia - 16,168,361; up by 13.5% y-o-y.
Magti ranks on the first place with 2.17 million subscribers and holds 42% of market share. Silknet holds – 33% and Vioni – 25%.
As for ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), MagtiCom has the highest ARPU, which amounts to GEL 10.3 per subscriber, - according to the Communications Commission.

The fastest growing segment for mobile operators is the mobile internet segment. In total, mobile internet subscribers consumed 62, 733 terabytes in January - February, which was 51% more compared to the previous year.
The number of mobile internet users amount to 3.2 million, which is 356,000 more compared to the last year.
