In February 2024, it became known that Yandex will be sold, the owner of the company will be a consortium of 5 Russian companies, which will pay USD 5.2 billion for Yandex. Among the future shareholders of the company is the Russian businessman of Georgian origin Alexander Chachava, who is the founder of LETA Capital.
