TAV Georgia, the operator of Tbilisi and Batumi Airports, has published a financial report for 9M2023.
According to the document, Tbilisi International Airport served 2.76 million passengers. During the period, its revenue made up EUR 69.4 million (201 million GEL), and the net profit was EUR 36 million (101 million GEL). Compared to the same period of 2022, the company's revenue increased by 21.4%, and net profit - by 20.6%.
The main source of revenue for Tbilisi Airport is the airport fee, which will be USD 25 per passenger from March 1, 2023 instead of USD 24.
As for Batumi International Airport, it served 621,514 passengers in 2023, which was an annual increase of 1%. According to the TAV report, the airport earned EUR 17.3 million (50.1 million GEL) in 9 months of 2023. Airport revenue increased by 26% during the period.
TAV Urban Georgia is a member of "TAV Airports Holding", which started operating in Georgia in 2005 and will carry out its activities until 2027.
