China occupies third place with a 9.8% share among Georgia's largest trade partner countries. According to Geostat, last year Georgia-China trade turnover amounted to 1 billion 862 million USD out of a total trade turnover of USD 19 billion, which was 25.8% higher than last year's total export-import figure.
In the trade relations between the countries, 39.5% accounts for exports, and in this regard, China ranks first among the largest partners. Last year, the income received from the sale of goods in China amounted to USD 737 million. The increase was 19.7% compared to 2021.
Among the exported goods, the main products are copper ores and concentrate. The income from their sale in China is more than half of the total exports.
