Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, on Monday, hosted new U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan at the government administration.
Following the meeting, Robin Dunnigan said US President Joe Biden, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and the Ambassador – all – look forward to further deepening the partnership and friendship of Georgia and the USA.
“In our 31 years of being friends and partners, the United States has supported Georgia’s education sector, healthcare sector, and your infrastructure. Georgian soldiers have stood by American soldiers side by side in Afghanistan, in Iraq, and in Kosovo.
I also told the Prime Minister that I look forward to supporting Georgia’s further integration into the West, into the EU and NATO. I want to expand our people-to-people ties and our economic relationship. So, I am so much looking forward to being here and getting to know this country and Georgian people better,” noted Dunnigan.
