ICR Group is planning to create a warehouse in Tbilisi, which involves the construction of a new warehouse space and its full equipment, - according to Kakha Kakhazaradze, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ICR Group.
As of him, the investment cost of the project is approximately USD 4 million.
The company's financial statement for 2022 reads, that the warehousing facility will fully serve two largest companies of the group: LLC "Chemi Sakhli" and LLC "IC Trade".
"The new warehouse will help both companies to improve logistics processes, as well as the efficiency of network supply and the accuracy of accounting will increase," the document reads.
According to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ICR Group, the construction of the warehouse space was supposed to start this year, but it could not be done due to a number of impeding reasons.
"I mean, getting the relevant permits and arranging the documentation, although we are at the end, we are completing the design and I think we will have a warehouse facility by the end of 2024. In addition, the software upgrade project will be completed this year and the 2024 group will switch to a new accounting system. We have been working on this program for four years," said Kakha Khazaradze.
