Kakha Kaladze, mayor of the capital city of Tbilisi, says on Wednesday at the government meeting, that the major infrastructure projects planned in 2023 include the rehabilitation of Tsereteli Avenue and the Mshvidoba Bridge.
According to him, several important projects are already being carried out.
"The implementation of large infrastructural projects in the capital city of Tbilisi continues. At the moment, Krtsanisi Street is being completely rehabilitated, which will be finished by the spring of this year. Also, the construction of the road bridge connecting Bagebi settlement and University Street is underway. The mentioned works are planned to be completed in the fall of 2023. In addition, the construction of a new road connecting Gelovani Avenue and Machavariani Street is in the final stage. At the moment, the main part of the project has been completed and road construction works are underway, which will be completed in spring of this year. As for the large infrastructure projects planned in 2023, the full rehabilitation works of Tsereteli Avenue will be carried out. In addition, rehabilitation and arrangement of the bridge named after Shalikashvili, as well as Mshvidoba Bridge is planned," said Kakha Kaladze.
According to him, the rehabilitation of streets and construction of new roads are also planned for 2023.
