In 2023, Georgia's total investment in the real sector of Armenia's economy amounted to over 3.35 billion drams (over $8.4 million), which is 1.9 billion drams ($4.8 million) less than in 2022.
According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, although total investments from Georgia to Armenia decreased, direct investments grew. In 2023, Georgia's foreign direct investments in the real sector of the Armenian economy reached just over 3.33 billion drams ($8.4 million), which is 2 billion drams (about $4 million) higher than in 2022.
Among the sectors of the Armenian economy that received investments from Georgia are metal ore mining (over $500,000), wholesale trade, excluding trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles (over $2.1 million), and air transport activities (over $6.4 million).
