Georgia exported $1.3 billion worth of agri-food products as of August 31, 2026, up by 13% compared with the same period of 2025, according to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
The ministry said exports stood at around $1.1 billion during the corresponding period last year. Major export products in 2026 included spirits, natural grape wine, non-alcoholic beverages, hazelnuts, blueberries, stone fruits and bay leaves, among others.
According to Geostat, the top three export destinations for products of plant origin in the first seven months of 2026 were Russia, Italy and Armenia. Georgia exported $100.3 million worth of such products to Russia, $20.9 million to Italy and $17.3 million to Armenia.
Official data on the volume and prices of agri-food products exported during the first eight months of 2026 will be released by Geostat on September 19.
