Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in the the IDF Kirya headquarters in Tel Aviv.

The two shake hands solemnly. Blinken says quietly, “Good to see you. I’m sorry it’s under these circumstances.”

“We’re here, we’re not going anywhere,” promises Blinken.

Joining Blinken are US Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Hallett and several top aides. Netanyahu is flanked by Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, Military Secretary Avi Gil, ambassador to Washington Michael Herzog, and Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, who Netanyahu rarely invites to such meetings.

The two officials will then meet one-on-one, and give statements to the press afterwards.

Afterward, they are slated to meet with members of the emergency unity government, including Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, National Unity party leader Benny Gantz, and MK Gadi Eisenkot, a former IDF chief of staff, TOI reports.
