From January to November 2024, Armenia's industrial production reached $6.8 billion, reflecting a 7.6% growth compared to the same period in the previous year, according to data published by the country's Statistical Committee.
However, a slight decline was observed in November. The production volume totaled $696 million, which is 19% lower than in November 2023 and 0.5% below the October 2024 figures.
The manufacturing sector made the largest contribution to total industrial production, accounting for 71.2%. Over the 11-month period, the sector produced $4.8 billion worth of goods, an increase of 10.8% compared to the same period last year.
In contrast, the mining and quarrying sector, which holds a 16.1% share of the total structure, experienced an 8% decline, with a production volume of $1.1 billion.
Positive dynamics were recorded in the energy and utilities sectors. The supply of electricity, gas, steam, and purified air grew by 12.6%, reaching $789 million, representing 11.6% of the total output.
The water supply, sewerage, and waste management sector also saw a 5.7% increase, with production valued at $73.6 million, accounting for 1.1% of the overall total.
