The Statistical Committee of Armenia has released data on inflation, showing that in June 2024, the 12-month inflation rate in the consumer market was 0.8%. Compared to the previous month, deflation was recorded at 0.9%.
Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in June 2024 decreased by 0.7% compared to June of the previous year and by 2.4% compared to May 2024.
In the non-food goods market, the price level in June 2024 decreased by 0.2% compared to the same month last year and by 0.3% compared to May 2024.
In the service sector provided to the population, tariffs in June 2024 increased by 2.7% compared to June 2023 and by 0.3% compared to May 2024.
From January to June 2024, compared to the same period last year, consumer market prices in Armenia decreased by 0.6%.
