Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili says the rate of inflation in the country has started to decrease and it is expected that the growth of consumer prices will continue to slow down in the coming months.
"Inflation has started to decrease. Naturally, we are talking about the inflation rate. For example, in December, 9.8% inflation has been observed, and the expectations that the economic team had in this direction were almost fully realized.
I think that in the coming months, the rate of inflation will decrease even more," said the Minister of Finance.
"Galt & Taggart" predicts the average inflation will be 5.2% in 2023, and it approach its 3.0% target by the end-2023.
