The Chairman of the Georgian Dream party, Irakli Garibashvili, has dismissed recent reports about his departure from the ruling party and claims of being hospitalized with serious injuries, labelling them as ‘absurd.’
Garibashvili reaffirmed his commitment to his role as party chairman. He clarified that a shoulder injury sustained during fitness required a medical examination but denied reports of multiple injuries.
“I would like to respond to these absurd slander, accusations, and lies that the public has seen in recent days. Information was spread that I left the party in protest, distanced myself from the team, or disagreed during a time of crisis. This is absurd. Everyone who knows me understands this is not my style. I live by my principles and will never deviate from them,” Garibashvili stated.
