On August 8, Yerevan will host the international conference "New Horizons of Cooperation between Armenia and the EAEU with BRICS and SCO," aimed at expanding the country's economic and humanitarian ties.
The event is intended to provide a platform for comprehensive discussions on the potential for developing partnerships between Armenia and the countries of BRICS and the SCO, which represent a significant portion of the global economy.
According to the organizing committee, experts from over ten countries will participate in the conference. They will discuss new areas of cooperation, the potential for joint projects, and strategies for deepening partnerships. The program includes plenary and thematic sessions focused on key aspects of collaboration.
The conference's partners include leading business and analytical centers from Armenia and the member countries of BRICS and SCO, including the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the SCO Member States Technology Transfer Center.
It is particularly noteworthy that the event will mark the launch of the "Armenia-BRICS" Business Cooperation Center, which will work to promote projects from the Republic of Armenia on an international level.
The organizers emphasize that despite Armenia's membership in the EAEU, which has laid the foundation for sustainable economic development, the country needs to diversify its international relations. The conference is seen as an important step in this direction, demonstrating Armenia's commitment to actively integrating into the global economic community and strengthening international relations.
