The Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze met with representatives of the USAID and the USAID project - National Governance Program.
As Irakli Kovzanadze noted, he is glad that a new stage of cooperation with USAID is starting.
"Over the years, as a result of joint work with the USA project, a number of interesting and important projects have been implemented to strengthen the law-making and oversight functions of the committee", - Irakli Kovzanadze noted.
In collaboration with USAID's Good Governance Initiative (GGI) project, the Committee has drafted a financial oversight guide, committee strategy, action plan, and other prudential documents.
