On March 6, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, Narek Terian, held a meeting with representatives of 16 private companies from Iran as part of the dialogue on developing trade and economic relations between the two countries.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the meeting discussed various areas of cooperation, including agriculture, animal husbandry, processing of agricultural products, feed production, industry, mechanical engineering, road construction, and other fields.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities provided by the extensive free trade agreement signed between the Eurasian Economic Union countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran in December 2023.
