Jazeera Airways, a Kuwaiti low-budget airline, is set to commence flights from El-Kuwait to Batumi starting from June 14.
This move comes as part of the airline’s expansion in Georgia, following Tbilisi, making Batumi its second destination in the country. The airline plans to operate seven flights per week during the summer tourist season.
The growing interest of Gulf countries in Georgia is evident, with 77,392 passengers arriving from Kuwait alone in 2023. Overall, in the same year, Georgia received a total of 1,094,695 passengers from Persian Gulf countries.
