Hotel management company KA Group has acquired a 27% stake in Quadrum Ski & Yoga Resort for GEL 1.5 million, founder Irakli Chighladze said in an interview with BMGTV.
According to Chighladze, this is the first time KA Group, which currently manages 12 hotels, has become a shareholder in one of the properties it operates. He described the deal as a natural next step in the company's growth and said it strengthens its long-term commitment to the resort.
He added that KA Group plans to focus on acquiring 10–20% stakes in hotels it manages in the future, although it does not expect to make another investment of this scale in 2026.
Chighladze also noted that as competition in Georgia's hotel market intensifies, professional hotel management companies are becoming increasingly important by helping owners optimize costs, improve sales, and strengthen customer loyalty.
