Tbilisi Mayor and Georgian Dream mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze has nominated Kakha Abuladze for the position of Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi, announcing the decision at a municipal government meeting.
Kaladze highlighted Abuladze’s extensive experience in early childhood education, noting his involvement in the implementation of numerous successful kindergarten projects.
Currently, Kakha Abuladze is the head of the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency, a position he has held since October 2023. He is a Doctor of Medicine and has been engaged in pedagogical activities at Tbilisi State Medical University since 2022.
Abuladze’s prior roles include Deputy Head of the Youth Agency at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, as well as various managerial positions within Tbilisi City Hall’s youth and sports departments.
Mayor Kaladze expressed confidence that Abuladze’s expertise will benefit the capital in his new role:
"I wish Kakha success in this very responsible position. We all understand well what it means to be in the service of Tbilisi and the people of Tbilisi. The coming years will be even more interesting for our city. We are ready to make our capital even more beautiful and comfortable with our work and daily activities," Kaladze said.
