The political party Georgian Dream received the largest political donation of 2 million GEL in 2025, which was 90% of the total political donations made in the country.
According to the political donations portal, 12,000 GEL was donated to the Georgian Dream by Kakha Kaladze, 10,000 GEL was donated by Irakli Garibashvili's father-in-law Tamaz Tamazashvili, and Nato Khaindrava, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Cartu Bank, who transferred 60,000 GEL.
Three members of the Board of Directors of Cartu Bank also made political donations - Deputy General Director Givi Lebanidze transferred 60,000 GEL, Deputy General Director Zurab Gogua - 55,000 GEL, Deputy Director Beka Kvaratskhelia - 55,000 GEL, and Gocha Chikviladze, a member of the Board of Directors of Cartu Group, donated 40,000 GEL.
Irakli Bekauri, director of the alcoholic beverage group Bolero, transferred 60,000 GEL to the Georgian Dream, former director of RMG Copper David Balanchivadze also transferred 60,000 GEL, director of the company Manganum Logistics Evgeni Jikhvadze also donated 40,000 GEL, financial director of the manganese trading company MN Trading Ilia Fridonashvili also donated 40,000 GEL to the Georgian Dream, director of the company Tornado+ Giorgi Bebia donated 20,000 GEL, Aleksandre Ivanishvili owns a 40% stake in the aforementioned company, and Gogi Kakhidze, director of another company GMT Group founded by the same company donated 40,000 GEL to the Georgian Dream. Simon Gegelashvili, owner of 40% of the company Iberoil, donated 40,000 GEL to GD, Gocha Chokoshvili, owner of 30% of the same company, transferred 50,000 GEL to the ruling party, Irakli Petriashvili, owner of 20% of Iberoil, donated 20,000 GEL, and David Alibegashvili, owner of 20% of Iberoil, also transferred 20,000 GEL.
