Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has announced plans to rehabilitate several major bridges in the capital, Mindeli, Galaktioni, and Queen Tamar bridges, over the next four years.
Kaladze noted that the Queen Tamar bridge’s overpass was renovated a few years ago due to safety risks, but now full rehabilitation works are planned.
In addition to bridges, the mayor outlined plans to rehabilitate Vazha-Pshavela Avenue and confirmed that the postponed Rustaveli Avenue project remains on the agenda.
