Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, as part of the state visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia.
The meeting focused on expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, as well as advancing regional projects of strategic importance. Both sides highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration in transit and logistics and discussed opportunities to further develop the Middle Corridor and enhance regional connectivity.
Khutsishvili briefed the Turkmen delegation on Georgia's current macroeconomic performance and medium-term economic outlook, while Geldimyradov presented an overview of Turkmenistan's key economic indicators.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides expressed confidence that President Berdimuhamedov's visit would contribute to strengthening trade and investment ties between Georgia and Turkmenistan.
