Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Zakir Hasanov, Defence Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Prime Minister’s press office, the meeting covered matters of bilateral, regional and international cooperation.
The same source reports that the high level of strategic partnership between the two countries and cooperation in the field of defence were underscored.
Particular attention was also drawn to the importance of peace and stability in the region.
Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Irakli Chikovani, attended the meeting.
