Georgia is preparing several major projects in Gudauri ahead of the next winter season, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at a government meeting.

The planned upgrades include installing artificial snowmaking systems on ski slopes with a total length of 7.5 kilometers. Two new Beagle-type ski lifts will also be installed in the snow park area, with a combined length of 1.4 kilometers.

The projects also include a 200-meter covered moving carpet for children, the construction of two new ski runs with a total length of 6 kilometers, and night lighting for the new “Gudauri” slope.

Kobakhidze said all planned works are expected to be completed by December, before the start of the winter season.
