Irakli Tavartkiladze, the founder of the tourist company Adjara Tour declares, that the situation in Kobuleti, Gonio, Kvariati and Sarfi is unfavorable, because the tourist regions are almost empty of tourists.
According to him, the main load falls on Batumi.
"The hot tourist season can be felt only in Batumi, but the lack of tourists is also clearly visible here. Despite that, flights have increased from Israel and Arab countries, it should also be taken into account that the Ukrainian market is completely lost, which accounts for 40-50% of Ajara's tourism,"- says Irakli Tavartkiladze.
According to him, it is true that the five-star hotels in Batumi are more or less busy, but the hotels of the middle and lower segment are actually empty, that's why they have to work with 30-35% occupancy in July.
"For the last two years, Kobuleti, Kvariati and Sarpi were full of tourists, but now, the main demand or 70-80% of tourists accounts for Batumi," said the founder of the tourist company Adjara Tour.
