“Lelo Georgia” appeals to Competition Agency to study aviation market.
“In spite of our several months of efforts, the Ministry of Economy and Georgian Airports Association keeps information on state subsidies on the aviation market in secret. Therefore, we appeal to the Competition Agency of Georgia to study the Georgian aviation market and relevant state interventions”, the party said in a statement.
In its visions and plans, "Lelo" pays great attention to the issue of transforming Georgia into an aviation hub.
“We believe that our country has great potential in this regard. We can significantly increase passenger flow. In addition, we know how to develop the trucking industry and how to attract multinational companies in the sector.
For such ambitious plans, we consider a transparent and competitive market where the rules of the game are fair and equitable for all. Therefore, we ask for information about subsidies of the air companies from the state agencies. We are expecting an immediate response from the Agency”, the statement reads.
