Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Administration to the Government of Georgia, met with representatives of the U.S. Congressional Foreign Affairs Committee.
According to the Government Administration’s press release, the discussion centred on the state of relations between Georgia and the United States, as well as recent developments within Georgia itself.
“The focus was on the measures undertaken by the Georgian Government and plans aimed at fostering the country’s economic growth. The conversation also covered efforts to combat corruption,” the statement noted.
The meeting underscored the importance of resetting the relations between Georgia and the United States. Participants expressed hope that the strategic partnership would be reset and continued with a clear agenda, reflecting the shared interests of both nations, the Government Administration added.
