First Vice Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, Ekaterine Mikabadze, attended an event marking the successful placement of 2-year bonds by Lopota LLC, totaling $11 million and €6.9 million.
This issuance was conducted under the company's debut $20 million bond program.
Ekaterine Mikabadze highlighted that it is encouraging to see a company of Lopota’s scale and reputation join the local capital market.
"The year 2025 saw record activity in public corporate bond issuances, with total issued bonds exceeding 1.5 billion GEL. High activity has continued into 2026: as of today, including Lopota's issuances, seven issuers have placed thirteen public corporate bonds on the market, totaling 570 million GEL. This figure represents an increase of approximately 80% compared to the same period last year," Ekaterine Mikabadze noted in her speech.
