Georgians spent a record GEL 521 million on mobile communications in the first seven months of 2025, according to new data from the Communications Commission (ComCom). This marks a 6% increase (31 million GEL) compared to the same period in 2024.
The revenues and market shares of Georgia’s three mobile operators were as follows:
- Magti – 245.3 million GEL, 2,388,314 subscribers, 40.7% market share, revenue growth of 5.7%.
- Silknet – 183.5 million GEL, 2,098,861 subscribers, 35.8% market share, revenue growth of 6%.
- Celfie Mobile – 91.3 million GEL, 1,362,082 subscribers, 23.2% market share, revenue growth of 8.7%.
In total, the number of active mobile subscribers increased to 5,868,043, up by 191,000 year-on-year.
ARPU Trends
Average revenue per user (ARPU), a key performance indicator, showed mixed dynamics:
- Magti: 16.25 GEL/month (+0.86 GEL y/y)
- Silknet: 13.97 GEL/month (−0.17 GEL y/y)
- Selfie Mobile: 10.58 GEL/month (+0.56 GEL y/y)
As of July 2025, 4.34 million subscribers (73.9% of all users) used mobile internet monthly, compared to 70.5% a year earlier. Average monthly data consumption per subscriber rose to 17.2 GB, an increase of 2.3 GB year-on-year.
