Kazakhstan's Majilis deputy Azamat Abildayev, who previously publicly supported Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia's invasion of Ukraine, was expelled from the Ak Zhol party, reports the press service of the party.
“According to the decision of the National Council it was decided to expel Abildayev from the Ak Zhol Democratic Party; In this regard, the Ak Zhol party sent a letter to the CEC on the termination of Abildayev's deputy mandate,” the statement said.
Abildayev, in an interview with Radio Azattyq, said that he supported Putin and Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In his opinion, the Ukrainian leaders are “Nazis”, and the people of Ukraine, as the deputy said, will seize President Volodymyr Zelensky before the summer and put him on trial, KazTag reports.
