She responds to the current situation with regard to water supply at the winter resort and writes that a similar problem should be considered at central government level.
“There is complete mismanagement in Gudauri. Water supply has been suspended to New Gudauri since December 30. However, sometimes supplying is restored with unpredictable schedule.
So far the reason is unclear, and no one is answering. Tourists are in a terrible condition and all this results discrediting the resort and diminishing mountain tourism. This is not just a problem for the water supply company, it should be considered at the central government (and not the region) level. So far no government officials have made a statement. Is this a "European resort"? Is this a resort that should host the World Cup in 3 years? (Bakuriani has the same problems)”, Mariam Asatiani reports.
