Manufacturing of elevators will begin in the Free Industrial Zone of Tbilisi with Azerbaijan investment.
Soso Nibladze, one of the founders of "Zoti Holding" and managing partner of FIZ said in an interview with BMGTV. According to him, the investment cost of the project is approximately GEL 3 million and 50 new jobs will be created.
The elevator manufacturing enterprise will be organized on the territory of Tbilisi FIZ, on an area of approximately 3000 square meters.
"We have already managed to attract four or five new projects to Tbilisi FIZ, one of which is the manufacturer of freight and passenger elevators. We finished the negotiations with the Azerbaijan company two weeks ago. As far as I know, such an enterprise does not exist in Georgia", said Soso Nibladze.
In addition, the owner of the Tbilisi Free Industrial Zone also noted that the management of "Zoti Holding" is trying to create maximum comfort for investors and the company also invests in the creation of certain infrastructure.
"We decided to make as diverse an offer as possible to investors, so we started preparing the infrastructure - it is a multi-functional building of various types, both for warehouse purposes and for promoting entrepreneurial activities. As a result, when the Azerbaijan company entered, we made some adjustments and adapted a part of the building to their interests, an area of approximately 3000 sq/m, where they will start manufacturing elevators," Soso Nibladze said.
