Located in Zestaponi and led by Director, Giorgi Pirvelashvili, Moirge is a MAC developed service that provides wheelchairs for, and fitted to, individuals under 18 years of age with postural support needs. Moirge is fully committed to providing service that aligns with WHO’s wheelchair provision guidelines and ensures that each person is accurately assessed, fitted to their wheelchair, and provided follow-up support.
Moirge was established through the generous financial assistance of the Bank of Georgia. Thanks, too, to Georgian Manganese for their donation of an office from where MOIRGE can conduct its work.
Now a certified service provider under the LEPL Agency For State Care And Assistance For the (Statutory) Victims of Human trafficking, Moirge’s selection of chairs and services can be accessed through the government’s voucher system.
