More Investments Are Needed For Economic Growth - Archil Gachechiladze

საქართველოს ბანკი

Archil Gachechiladze, General Director of the Bank of Georgia said on Monday, that the volume of investments in the country's economy is decreasing. As he notes, in order to ensure the growth of the economy, it is necessary to attract more investments.

According to him, the main challenge for the country in the next 3 years will be the timely and correct mobilization of investments.

"Large capital inflows, observed in the previous years, have been reduced in the last two years. More economic incentives are needed for economic growth to continue, because Georgia has an increased geopolitical role in the middle corridor, more investments are needed in this direction, both in terms of logistics and transport, as well as energy and telecommunications. In my opinion, during the next three years, the main challenge is the timely and correct mobilization of these investments", explained Archil Gachechiladze.
