Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, “Moscow is ready to assist Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia in normalizing relations if these countries are interested in providing non-attack agreements.”
“The current Georgian government simply appreciates the past. They said they “want historical reconciliation.” However, in what form this reconciliation can happen – these countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia must decide,” Lavrov said at a press conference of the UN General Assembly.
