Most Visited Destinations in Georgia in 2025 Revealed

Georgia’s National Tourism Administration has published visitor survey results identifying the most visited destinations by foreign tourists in 2025. Visitors were able to choose multiple locations, giving a wider picture of overall travel patterns across the country.

Tbilisi remains the top destination, attracting 3.76 million visitors, an 11% annual increase. The capital accounts for 33% of the country’s total tourist flow.

Batumi ranks second with 2.6 million foreign visitors (23% of total flow), marking a 5% increase compared to the previous year. In Adjara, hotspots such as Kvariati, the Batumi Botanical Garden, and Gonio Fortress were among the most visited sites.

Kutaisi is in third place with 631,000 visitors, a strong 15% rise year-on-year. Popular attractions include Gelati Monastery, Bagrati Cathedral, and Tskaltubo’s caves.

Kazbegi follows in fourth place with 592,000 visitors, up by 16%, while Mtskheta ranks fifth with 542,000 visitors.

The survey confirms that Georgia’s historic landmarks, natural attractions, and Black Sea resorts remain key drivers of tourism growth across the country.
