Sanctioning the heads and owners of specific business structures should in no way affect the people employed in these companies – My advice to businessmen facing sanctions: Do not follow Bidzina, do not drag your employees and business partners into this misfortune, – writes the leader of "Strong Georgia," Mamuka Khazaradze, on Facebook.

Addressing businessmen, he states that their sanctioning would cause irreparable damage to their companies and employees.

"For those who watched my interview yesterday and misinterpreted it – I have always been and will continue to be a supporter of Georgian business. The country's budget, stability, and jobs depend on it. The sanctioning of the heads and owners of specific business structures should in no way affect the people employed in these companies (this is what I said yesterday).

We are talking about tens of thousands of people who work daily, create wealth, earn wages, and support their families.

The decision on sanctions is made by the relevant U.S. authorities. Those who finance the Russian regime and, consequently, violence, must be sanctioned—this has been and remains our firm position.

At the same time, my advice to businessmen facing sanctions: Do not follow Bidzina, do not drag your employees and business partners into this misfortune.

When Bidzina and his loyal prosecution launched an attack against me and Badri, before any case was initiated, we left all business structures and positions. By doing so, we saved thousands of our colleagues' jobs and spared our business partners from numerous problems and project closures.

Your sanctioning would mean irreparable harm to your companies and employees.

Disassociate yourselves from Ivanishvili’s Russian regime, save thousands of your employees from losing their jobs.

Cooperating with the Russian regime comes at a cost and will have severe consequences!" writes Khazaradze.
