Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, participated in the presentation of the updated website of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, adapted for people with disabilities.
The Committee recommended the creation of a website tailored to the needs of people with disabilities to the service this year.
The Committee Chairman praised the large increase in access to services, noting that the new website provides equal access to information for individuals with disabilities, promoting their participation in both public and professional activities.
The service website has been adapted for the blind and partially sighted, as well as the translation of methodological videos for the calculation of various indicators into sign language.
The event was attended by Rati Ionatamishvili, Deputy Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, representatives of the executive branch, and various sectoral services.
