Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, met with a Mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visiting Georgia. The IMF mission's visit is part of the periodic consultations concluded under Article IV of the IMF’s Articles of Agreement, aimed at assessing Georgia's macroeconomic situation, fiscal and monetary policies.
The meeting included discussions between the IMF mission and senior officials from the National Bank of Georgia, including Vice-Governors Ekaterine Mikabadze and Ekaterine Galdava.
The NBG management provided the IMF mission with detailed information on key macroeconomic trends, reviews of monetary policy, and financial stability.
