Georgia’s tourism potential, culture, and cuisine were presented to a group of nine US tour operators hosted by the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA).

The visitors explored Tbilisi’s tourist attractions and traveled to Kakheti, visiting Signagi, Tsinandali, Vardisubani, Alvani, Kvareli, and Napareuli. Their itinerary included participating in the grape harvest, visiting the Aleksander Chavchavadze House Museum, attending a traditional Qvevri-making masterclass, tasting Georgian wines, horseback riding, and taking a jeep tour.

The group also visited Mtskheta and Mukhrani, where informational tours, wine tastings, and a culinary masterclass were organized.

According to the GNTA, the familiarization tour aims to promote Georgia in the US tourism market as a year-round destination, increase awareness, attract more visitors, and showcase Georgian culture, wine, and cuisine.

In the first nine months of 2026, Georgia recorded 46,920 visits from the United States, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year
