The bus station noted that, under existing legislation, setting passenger fares falls under the authority of transport operators, not the station itself. “Okriba does not set, change, or enforce fare adjustments,” the statement said. The station regularly communicates and consults with operators, and no fare increases have been observed to date.
Additionally, Okriba Bus Station is running special promotions on certain routes, offering a 25% discount on fares. The company stressed that it will continue cooperating with operators to protect passenger interests and ensure fares remain affordable, while minimizing price increases in the future.
