There are no problems in trade between Russia and Armenia, stated Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, reports Interfax.

"Absolutely none. 'Verkhny Lars' is functioning normally. Everything is fine in trade and the economy," Overchuk told reporters when asked if there were any disruptions in trade with Armenia.

The Deputy Prime Minister did not specify whether bilateral contacts with the Armenian side are planned in Minsk during the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) in early June.

"There will be an EIC meeting, and the Armenian delegation will be there," Overchuk said in response to the question.

Earlier, BMG reported that Russia remains Armenia's leading trade partner, with a trade volume exceeding $7.3 billion in 2023.

In January-March of this year, trade turnover with Russia increased by 2.4 times, amounting to $3.7 billion.
