We are monitoring the process. I wish to use this opportunity and once again urge the population to get vaccinated. Let me remind the citizens of Georgia that we are paying 200 GEL upon the first dose to incentivise vaccination among people aged over 50 years. The Head of Government of Georgia also spoke about opening up the sales market of Turkey for Georgia, thereby calling the importers for timely supplying medication to the local consumption market to ultimately drop prices on imported pills.
"As promised, we have opened up the sales market of Turkey. Importers are now expected to timely supply the high quality though cheap medication to the consumption market of Georgia. We will be monitoring this process. Zurab Azarashvili, Minister of Health is actively engaged in this process. I wish to once again call the importers for timely supplying these pills, which is believed to quickly drop prices on medication in the country" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.
